.. Or should I say .. Bienvenue dans les Gorges du Verdon!

I had the pleasure to visit this place in 2015, you see, growing up in Ecuador as a child, I realized I was different from the other kiddos, I know every parent repeat this to his/her child but in my case it meant to be true.
I suffer from daltonism which means I am color blind and can’t appreciate the beautiful palette of colors offered by nature.
Nevertheless, this did not stop my dreams of becoming a photographer.

Au contraire!

I embrace my “thing” and you can say I see the world with different eyes.
Now, let me take you back to the first time when I saw the Gorges du Verdon, I couldn’t believe what My eyes were seeing! I was amazed and in awe! The Gorges took my breath away and all this by seeing it in “black and white” (haha no I do not see in black and white if you’re wondering)

(This place is perfect for an adventurous photo shoot, I’m telling you!)

Now imagine yourself that can appreciate colors better than me!
So this is my advice to you if you are planning to visit the well-known areas of Provence, or the Côte d’Azur, add this place to your list.

Best time for visiting the Verdon Canyon and its areas? In June or in September, especially during the morning as you can avoid many of the tourist crowds.

You can ride a pedal boat or electric boat inside the magnificent canyon and if you’re into more extreme sports, you can even paraglide or go for a hike!

You won’t regret it!

And if you come by say hi 🙂

(This is where I live now, about 3 minutes far from this view)

Until next time, dear friend!
